Vintage Steelmaster bond box customized by hand with warning text and iconography, the lid painted up with DANGER, BEWARE, KEEP OUT, a skull and crossbones, and “PRIVATE PROPERTY OF DAVID MOCKRIDGE 007.” It reads like a true college era stash box, the kind kept under a bed or in the back of a closet to protect whatever mattered most, letters, cash, keepsakes, or a little contraband.
